Diving Equipment
There are a number of apparatus termed as diving equipment.
Diving gear should always consist of a diving mask, diving regulator, buoyancy control device (BCD), depth gauge, diving cylinder and diving cylinder pressure gauge. In warmer waters a wetsuit would be required, and in colder climes the use of dry suit SCUBA diving equipment would be necessary. Of course all of this diving gear would be useless without some fins (flippers) to help you move along and a weighted belt to stop you floating to the surface!
Do You Need All this Equipment to Dive?
Although you could technically dive with SCUBA diving gear such as diving mask, diving cylinder (with straps), regulator and fins, all the above SCUBA diving equipment is necessary to ensure safe diving conditions, and an enjoyable and comfortable experience. Diving without the correct equipment is foolhardy to say the least.
